This beautiful whelk shell has been cast directly from a real shell, preserving its natural ridges, curves and intricate details. Finished in solid silver, it is paired with a luminous keishi pearl for an organic, quietly luxurious piece inspired by the coastline.
Keishi pearls are unique, naturally occurring pearls formed when a mollusc produces nacre without a traditional bead nucleus. Because they develop organically, each keishi pearl is completely individual, with an irregular shape, softly lustrous surface and wonderfully natural character. No two are ever quite alike.
The shell and pearl hang from a sterling silver satellite chain. Adorned with tiny little silver stations, the chain has more detail and sparkle than a traditional silver chain.
